Sometimes known as Sasori of the Red Sands [Akasuna no Sasori], he was born into a full-blooded family of wizards, who were known for their talents in puppetry, excelling in certain elaborate charms [mostly wandless] to manipulate them. Their designs of marionettes are also one of the best. Sasori himself is also a genius wizard-puppeteer; it is said that if his skills further developed, it would be unmatched.
As a young boy, he was a very kind and intelligent boy, until the sudden loss of his parents. The event had him falling into depression, which resulted in his rather dark personality. Through desperateness, he tried to revive his parents using dark arts, wanting to preserve them in the form of puppets. The most he could do was transfigure his parents' bodies into marionettes, and was stopped before he went out of control. Fortunately, he was cured of his depression; however, his personality never reverted back into it's original outward state; that side of him is only for those he deemed worthy. He does appreciate company, though.
His current family now consists of only his grandmother and granduncle, Chiyo and Ebizo, respectively. Their relationship is not very strong, due to Sasori's very strong independency, but his grandmother/uncle would like to strengthen their loose relationship.
Insensitive, sarcastic, arrogant, intelligent and well-versed, Sasori has a complex personality. While he speaks eloquently, it does not stop him from using "colourful" language. He strongly appreciates art, but is not afraid to put down other people's taste if it does not match his high standards [not unless it puts them off art; in which he'll make an effort to fake it]. Sasori's insensitive and arrogant nature make him seem nigh approachable, but in fact, he likes company, and is more emotional than he makes out to be, and he also has a tendency to sweet talk. He is also not afraid of voicing his opinion...if he felt like it. Looks younger than he is, but acts older to compensate.
At Hogwarts, he has a high affinity to Charms [due to his line of work] and Potions, specialising in the field of poisons [this also overlaps certain aspects of Herbology]. |
People he'd kill for.
Rinali; Initially, interest in Rinali was only because she looked very much like a beautiful living doll. Upon getting to know her, Sasori found himself caught in some rather awkward situations, and feelings he'd lie to cover and keep a straight face over.
People he enjoys the company of.
Itachi; Same as Kisame. Only a lot more elegant, and probably a lot more easier to get intelligent conversation out of.
Oruha; Sasori looks up to her like an older sister figure, and she seems to be able to read him. He plays along with her teasing of him.
Lee; Usually, the energetic bubbly types, Sasori would avoid. However, he finds Lee's determination admirable [and the fact he seems to like was Sasori does], and so Sasori considers him good company.
People he doesn't give a damn about but seems to see too much of.
Sakura; If mosquitoes are in human form, then it'll be Sakura. Despite the fact she it trying to reform, he finds that she is doing a poor job over it and that she is trying to project her part of her pettiness in the form of annoying him.
People he wants to kill.
[Fortunately, none of late XD;;]

Layout by self, where I cheaply edited the Earth template in Bloggish. The beautiful mask stock was generously provided by stock.xchng
Userinfo also by me, using an image from Gackt's Mizerable booklet. It just seemed fitting, but it's not Sasori, just Gackt representing Sasori, yeah, you get my drift.
